Das Round Canopy Parachuting Team Suisse ist eine gemeinschaftliche, zivile Interessenvereinigung. Die in konzentrierter Form die Ausübung, des militärischen  Fallschirmspringen mit Rundkappenschirmen praktiziert und fördert.

 

Die Hintergründe beziehen sich auf die historischen Ereignisse des Zweiten Weltkrieges und der daran beteiligten Alliierten Fallschirmtruppen, die zur Befreiung Europas beigetragen haben.

Auf unterschiedlichen Sprungveranstaltungen, die auf geschichtlichen Geschehnissen basieren, wollen wir zu Ehren der damaligen Beteiligten, einen Teil zur Wahrung der Geschichte beitragen.

Dies beinhaltet das Gedenken  an alle gefallenen Opfer und Veteranen, die für die Freiheit Europas gekämpft haben und die Vermittlung der Historie in Form von lebendiger Geschichte für Außenstehende und Drittpersonen.

 

Im Weiteren stehen der Spaßfaktor und das gemeinschaftliche Gedankengut im Vordergrund. Hinzu kommt der sportliche Aspekt, der nebst Trainingssprüngen auch ein gewisses Maß an Geschicklichkeit und Mut voraussetzt.

 

Das Round Canopy Parachuting Team Suisse, bemüht sich auch stets das Fallschirmspringen in Verwendung von Rundkappenschirmen im zivilen Fallschirmsport zu erhalten und die Integration zu fördern.

 

Wir sind eine eigenständige Gemeinschaft, die mit anderen Sektion aus Frankreich, Holland, Deutschland, Belgien, England und den USA ein internationales Fallschirmsprungteam bildet. Le « Round Canopy Parachuting Team Suisse » est une association sans but lucratif. Son but principal est la pratique et la promotion du parachutisme de type militaire avec voilures hémisphériques.

Les fondements se basent sur les évènements historiques de la Seconde Guerre Mondiale et les troupes aéroportées alliées qui ont contribué à la libération de l’Europe.

Par l’organisation de largages, basés sur des évènements historiques, nous visons à honorer les belligérants de l’époque par la préservation de l‘Histoire.

 

Cela implique la préservation de la mémoire pour tous les soldats morts au combat et les vétérans qui ont combattu pour la libération de l’Europe, ainsi que la transmission du savoir historique sous forme d’évènements vivants.

De plus, nous mettons en avant l’aspect « divertissement » et l’envie d’être ensemble. L’aspect sportif est également important par l’intermédiaire de sauts d’entraînement, qui nécessitent volonté et technique.

 

Le Round Canopy Parachuting Team Suisse vise également à promouvoir l’utilisation et l’intégration de voilures hémishériques dans le milieu du parachutisme sportif civil.

 

Nous sommes une association indépendante qui fait partie, avec d’autres sections de France, Hollande, Allemagne, Belgique, Angleterre et Etats-Unis, d’une équipe internationale de parachutisme. Les deux sections principales du Round Canopy Parachuting Team, Inc. sont localisées aux Etats-Unis et en France.

 

 

 

 

 

The Round Canopy Parachuting Team of Switzerland is an international civilian interest group, whose primary undertaking is the practice and promotion of living history through authentic, military style parachuting, with round canopy parachutes.

 

The Round Canopy Parachuting Team participates in historical events, throughout Europe and the United States, related to World War II. The team‘s mission is to preserve history while honoring the Allied paratroopers who contributed to the liberation of Europe, through live parachuting demontrations.

At each jump event, whether it be jumping onto an original dropzone or ceremoinal tribute, we aim to to the honor all those who served, and all those who are fallen, veteran and victim, by accurately preserving the history of those who fought for the freedom of Europe, through the actions of living history. In addition to the historical tributes, the team strives to demonstrate the fun of parachuting and the communal atmosphere of the Airborne community. While accurately representing and demonstrating the importance of history is the primary focus, the Team also represents the sporting aspect of parachuting which requires a certain degree of skill and courage to participate.

Additionally, The Round Canopy Parachuting Team of Switzerland also strives to pubilcally promote the integration and use of round canopy parachutes in civilian skydiving.

 

The Round Canopy Paracuting Team is an autonomous community that forms an international parachuting group with other divisions located in France, Holland, Germany, Belgium, Great Britain and the U.S.A. The headquarters of the two primary divisions of the Round Canopy Parachuting Team, Inc. are located in the U.S.A. and France.
